About The Position

Basil Ford of Niagara Falls is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Parts Counter Associate to join our growing team. Position: Parts Counter Associate Location: Basil Ford Niagara Falls- 6980 Niagara Falls Blvd, Niagara Falls NY 14304 Parts Counter Associate Compensation: Between $55,000 to $70,000 annually (based on knowledge, & experience). Schedule: 5 Day Work Week - Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. with Saturday rotation OR 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday

Requirements

2 + years of experience in an automotive parts department (Ford experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts cataloging
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented with solid organizational abilities
Proficient with computer systems and dealership management software
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ford experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist retail customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts.
Process parts orders, returns, and invoices efficiently and accurately.
Educate customers on all required parts to successfully complete repairs.
Maintain parts inventory levels and organization.
Research parts availability, pricing, and warranty information.
Answering telephone calls punctually and considerately to make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry.
Support daily parts department operations and ensure timely delivery to the service department.
Attention to detail when completing vehicle repair orders.
Stock incoming inventory in the correct location
Build lasting relationships with customers, vendors and internal team members.
Strong computer skills - parts catalogs and parts processing performed electronically.
