The Parts Associate plays a vital role in supporting the service and sales departments by efficiently managing parts inventory, assisting customers and technicians with parts requests, and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of orders. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in automotive parts preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and parts.
  • Ability to use parts catalog systems and dealership management software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts.
  • Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized inventory and ensure stock levels are adequate.
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts shipments.
  • Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs.
  • Provide pricing and availability information to customers and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts department.
  • Uphold CMA’s standards for professionalism, accuracy, and customer service.
