About The Position

About this Role The Handyman supports day-to-day facility, equipment, and minor mechanical needs across CMA’s Martinsburg and Winchester dealership locations. This role performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks with some supervision and requires average mechanical knowledge. A company vehicle is provided for travel between locations. Requirements

  • Average mechanical knowledge: maintenance or handyman experience preferred
  • Ability to perform tasks with some supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Commitment to safety and compliance standards
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Complete work as outlined on repair orders
  • Diagnose issues based on reports, inspections, and observations
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required parts and materials
  • Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
  • Stay informed on manufacturer technical bulletins and updates
  • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle
  • Maintain, protect, and properly store dealership-owned tools and manuals
  • Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste disposal requirements
  • Operate all tools and equipment safely at all times
  • Report safety concerns or hazards immediately to management
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned
