The Parts & Inventory Specialist supports fitness‑facility operations by coordinating the sourcing and tracking of equipment parts. The role helps reduce equipment downtime, organizing inventory, warehouse related activities, and works closely with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. With strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills, this role helps create a dependable experience for members and staff. Their dedication and problem-solving enable the team to tackle challenges and provide a positive gym experience.

Requirements

  • Equipment Expertise: 3+ years of mechanical knowledge, preferably with fitness equipment.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations.
  • High level of professionalism and dependability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must successfully pass Background Check.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to access and operate Company computer system including prepare documents, enter data into computer system, read reports from a computer database or email system.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fitness facility maintenance is preferred.
  • Understanding basic Procurement functions and processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Equipment Team in sourcing and ordering parts.
  • Identifies practical solutions to help reduce equipment downtime.
  • Maintains accurate inventory records and assists with order fulfillment.
  • Supports the organization and day‑to‑day operation of facility warehouses.
  • Maintains productive relationships with manufacturers and suppliers; follows up on RMAs, back‑ordered items, and delivery issues.
  • Assists with small‑equipment initiatives with tracking, and coordination for technicians.
  • Helps sustain reliable supplier partnerships for essential parts.
  • Supports reporting on supplier and inventory performance metrics.
  • Assists with process‑improvement efforts that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Supports coordination of supplier‑led training opportunities for Equipment Technicians.
  • Identifies evaluates and implements cost control opportunities and initiatives without compromising quality.
