About The Position

The Partnerships Associate will play a key role in supporting Fast Forward’s growing network of corporate and foundation partners. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, this person will help deliver on partner commitments, coordinate impact storytelling, and ensure that each partner has a seamless, high-quality experience. You’ll track key milestones, prepare partner-ready updates, help organize meetings and briefings, and keep internal teams aligned on what each partnership requires. Your work ensures every partner has a polished, reliable, and thoughtful experience with Fast Forward. This role is a strong fit for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, loves keeping complex workstreams organized, and wants to build deep experience in mission driven partnerships. This is a full time, in office role based in the Presidio in San Francisco, CA.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in partnerships, account management, client services, or nonprofit development.
  • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities — able to craft clear, professional correspondence and materials.
  • Collaborative and reliable teammate with a proactive, “no-task-too-small” mindset.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Excited to learn about tech nonprofits and support partnerships that help scale tech nonprofits for social good.
  • Deep passion for Fast Forward’s mission and the role of technology in advancing social good, with experience or familiarity in tech nonprofits or social innovation as a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an excellent partnership experience for Fast Forward’s partners
  • Support the Strategic Partnerships team in day-to-day relationship management for foundation and corporate partners.
  • Draft and prepare stewardship materials including monthly Investor Update, annual and interim grant reports, as well as event summaries.
  • Prepare customized materials to engage partners and their employees (i.e. partnership guides and example volunteer recruiting language)
  • Help coordinate employee engagement efforts with partner companies and tech nonprofits
  • Support Programs team on key events with strategic partners, including Demo Days - from invite strategy and outreach to day-of support
  • Ensure that all partner information in Fast Forward’s system (e.g., HubSpot, Notion) is accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain tracking system for partner contract milestones, reporting deadlines, and progress against grant deliverables. Contribute to team-wide efforts to continuously improve how Fast Forward engages and reports to partners.
  • Assist with partner meetings as needed, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and notetaking.
