About The Position

Achievement Network (ANet) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping all students achieve strong educational outcomes. We partner with school and system leaders to strengthen teaching and learning through the strategic use of assessments, coaching, and tools that drive meaningful results. Individuals who join ANet become part of a dynamic, mission-driven, and collaborative organization focused on making a lasting impact in schools. We are committed to supporting one another and growing together as a team. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Implementation Success, the Partnership Operations Generalist will strengthen execution, coordination, and follow-through for ANet’s largest and most complex partnerships. This role will support ANet’s team of client leads who manage relationships with ANet’s partners and are responsible for securing partnership renewals and expansions. The Generalist will work behind the scenes to ensure that client leads’ priorities, scopes of work, renewal milestones, and partner commitments are translated into clear plans, aligned execution, and reliable follow-through. This role owns the project management backbone of high-stakes partnerships: creating structure, visibility, and accountability across complex, cross-functional work.

Requirements

  • Organize complex work and tasks, including those which may require input or deliverables across internal and external stakeholders
  • Build contingencies into the process for known or possible barriers to delivery, leading to almost all work delivered on-time or early
  • Bring solution-orientation to overcoming more challenging obstacles
  • Identify critical questions for inquiry, the right people to give input, and the best methods to gather robust information
  • Produce concise, professional writing and communicate with precision with internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrate active listening skills and the ability to actively seek out stakeholders’ points of view to improve your performance or your work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in education, nonprofits, consulting, or professional services
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency and project management systems
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or serving as an execution partner to client-facing roles
  • Familiarity with renewal- or revenue-linked work and cross-functional coordination

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage systems that support effective partnership project management
  • Serve as the primary project manager in partnership with client leads for large or complex partnerships and for high-stakes partnership groups (e.g., pilots of new products), as scoped in alignment with the Deputy Chief of Staff
  • Translate partnership priorities, scopes of work, renewal milestones, and commitments into clear project plans with defined deliverables, owners, deadlines, and dependencies
  • Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and misalignment across workstreams; surface concerns early with proposed solutions
  • Maintain visibility into renewal and expansion readiness by tracking key deliverables, surfacing risks, and ensuring internal data systems accurately reflect progress on service delivery and renewal milestones
  • Coordinate across internal teams (e.g., Design, Insights, Product, Finance, Sales) to support smooth execution of partner work
  • Support teammates staffed to large and complex partnerships to fulfill partner-specific requirements to visit schools, and track completion to ensure smooth partnership launches
  • Manage sequencing and logistics for complex initiatives such as launches, expansions, renewals, and transitions
  • Ensure project teams have clarity on roles, responsibilities, handoffs, and decision-making authority across internal collaborators
  • Track interdependencies across teams and proactively resolve conflicts or gaps
  • Support client leads with preparation for high-stakes partner meetings by developing agendas, timelines, and partner-facing materials
  • Develop a plan for and manage partnership teams towards delivering insights to partners on a regular cadence
  • Support internal partnership team meetings by capturing decisions, documenting action steps, and managing follow up to maintain shared accountability
  • Maintain high-quality internal documentation that supports continuity, transparency, and operational clarity
  • Ensure consistent follow-through on deliverables and next steps following meetings
  • Identify patterns across partnerships to inform improvements to tools, templates, and internal systems
  • Contribute to the development of standard project management practices for high-revenue partnerships

Benefits

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance where ANet pays a portion of the cost of these benefits for employees and their families/domestic partner
  • Generous paid time-off including 10 paid holidays and paid days off between the Christmas and New Year’s holidays
  • Paid parental leave
  • Educational expenses reimbursements
  • Flexible spending accounts
  • Professional development
  • A 401(k) plan with a 4% match
  • Short and long-term disability coverage
  • Basic life and personal accident insurance
