About The Position

Join Goodstart Early Learning as a Partnership Coordinator and play a critical role in creating stronger, more connected communities for children and families experiencing disadvantage. As a Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind building strong, sustainable connections between Goodstart Plus Centres and their local communities. Working closely with Centre teams and external partners, you’ll identify and activate referral pathways, services, and supports to enhance access and participation for children and families experiencing vulnerability. Your work will bring together key stakeholders - local health, education, disability, and family support services - to develop inclusive, place-based solutions that respond to real community needs. Through advocacy, strategic planning, and data-driven insight, you’ll ensure our centres are not just places of learning, but hubs of support that help every child thrive. Your leadership in partnership development will directly contribute to stronger outcomes for children, families, and communities - giving every child the best possible start in life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and/or health or social welfare (essential)
  • Experience working with children and families experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage
  • Strong understanding of the child and family service system, with the ability to navigate and coordinate supports
  • Knowledge of evidence-based services that improve outcomes for children in early learning settings
  • Skilled in building partnerships and leading collaborative change across education, health, or community services
  • Experience with place-based approaches and working across government and non-profit sectors
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Committed to continuous improvement and achieving better outcomes
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Current driver’s licence
