The Partner Success Manager serves as a critical connector between the Company and health system partners, driving strategic alignment and operational excellence across joint ventures. This role acts as the primary liaison, ensuring that partner priorities and Company objectives are integrated into a unified roadmap that accelerates transformation and delivers measurable outcomes. By fostering collaboration, managing complex relationships, and championing change, the Partner Success Manager enables seamless execution of shared strategies, such as EMR (Electronic Medical Records) optimization, interoperability, and clinical workflow enhancements, while maintaining a focus on partner satisfaction and organizational growth. Key responsibilities include establishing governance frameworks, managing program portfolios, overseeing financial performance, and leading change management efforts. The Partner Success Manager is expected to bring a strong command of healthcare IT, program execution, and stakeholder engagement to accelerate transformation initiatives such as Epic transitions, joint venture integrations, and AI pilots. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational rigor, and the ability to lead through influence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
  • 7+ years in Technology or Health IT program management.
  • This role is customer-facing and requires excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with Epic system implementations.
  • Vendor and SOW management experience.
  • Deep understanding of EMR systems (especially Epic), interoperability standards, and vendor management.
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecast costs, track ROI, and synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Skilled in driving adoption through structured change management, including communications planning, training, and go-live execution.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC2, and audit-readiness practices; ability to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and align diverse teams, including clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience overseeing direct reports and vendor PMs, with a focus on coaching, delegation, and performance management.

  • Epic Certification in relevant modules (e.g., Ambulatory, Cadence, Bridges, or Care Everywhere); candidates without certification must demonstrate equivalent experience and fluency in Epic workflows and terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary IT and transformation liaison between the Company and partner health systems, acting as a single-threaded owner for partner success across technology, data, security, and operational enablement.
  • Establish and maintain strong executive-level relationships with partner stakeholders, ensuring alignment on joint priorities, milestones, risks, and outcomes while proactively surfacing and resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into partner-specific execution plans, ensuring consistency with Company standards while flexing appropriately to partner operating models, regulatory environments, and clinical workflows.
  • Collaboration with the Transformation Office to establish and maintain program governance frameworks including charters, RACI matrices, strategic roadmaps, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and executive-level status reporting decks for ELT and Board visibility.
  • Represent partner interests internally and the Company’s interests externally, balancing speed, quality, cost, and risk in high-stakes, multi-party environments.
  • Partner closely with the Transformation Office and PMO to design, implement, and continuously improve program governance frameworks
  • Ensure partner initiatives are fully embedded into enterprise delivery and governance models, including intake, prioritization, stage gates, and benefits realization.
  • Drive disciplined execution across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, on scope, and on value, while managing complex cross-functional dependencies (IT, Operations, Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, People, etc.).
  • Act as a hands-on problem solver during critical moments—cutting through ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and driving decisive action.
  • Manage program financials, including budget development, forecasting, vendor SOW tracking, and ROI/benefits realization reporting to ensure fiscal discipline and value delivery.
  • Own program-level financial management for partner initiatives
  • Partner with Finance and leadership to quantify, track, and report ROI, benefits realization, and value delivery, ensuring investments tie directly to strategic and operational outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cost, accelerate value, and reduce waste across partner programs without compromising quality, security, or compliance.
  • Drive change management initiatives, such as communication planning, training and adoption strategies, field readiness assessments, and execution of go-live playbooks to support successful transitions.
  • Lead and execute end-to-end change management strategies for partner-facing initiatives
  • Ensure field, clinical, and operational teams are fully prepared for go-live, with clear playbooks, escalation paths, and support models.
  • Monitor post-implementation adoption and performance, rapidly addressing gaps to ensure sustained value realization and operational stability.
  • Ensure risk and compliance alignment, including HIPAA adherence, security reviews, BAA/SOC2 documentation, and audit-ready records for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all partner initiatives meet Company and partner standards for HIPAA, data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate security reviews, risk assessments, and documentation, including BAAs, SOC 2 reports, audit artifacts, and third-party risk materials.
  • Maintain audit-ready records and serve as a point of coordination for internal audits, partner reviews, and external regulatory inquiries.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational, technical, and compliance risks, escalating appropriately with clear mitigation plans and executive context.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and reporting, including tracking of OKRs and KPIs, development of executive dashboards, facilitation of post-mortems, and continuous improvement initiatives across programs.
  • Use data and feedback to refine governance, execution models, and partner engagement strategies over time.
  • Act as a force multiplier for the VP and leadership team—anticipating needs, synthesizing complex information, and enabling faster, better decisions.
