About The Position

As a Senior Partner Sales Manager at Braze, you will be responsible for defining and executing the partnership strategy for our most strategic, high-growth partners. This role transcends day-to-day execution, focusing on developing scalable co-sell programs, driving significant partner-sourced revenue growth, and mentoring internal sales teams on optimal partner engagement. You will serve as the commercial quarterback for a defined group of key alliances (e.g., Global System Integrators or major Tech Alliances), ensuring deep GTM alignment that results in substantial, repeatable commercial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience: You have 7+ years of progressive experience in Partner Sales, Alliances Management, or Strategic Business Development within the B2B SaaS industry, with a focus on marketing technology, CRM, or customer engagement platforms
  • Strategic Track Record: Demonstrable success in building and scaling complex strategic partnerships, resulting in consistent achievement of multi-million dollar revenue goals through indirect channels
  • MarTech/GSI Expertise: Deep understanding of the global MarTech/AdTech landscape. Specific experience managing large Global System Integrators (GSIs), top-tier consulting firms, or major technology alliances is highly preferred
  • Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead by influence, driving alignment across both internal sales, marketing, and product teams, and external partner organizations at the executive level
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills, capable of structuring and articulating complex commercial value to C-level audiences

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Ownership: Own the commercial relationship, strategy, and results for a portfolio of Braze's most strategic, complex partners, focusing on driving significant partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue
  • Define Co-Sell Strategy: Architect and implement scalable co-sell and co-delivery programs with partners that drive repeatable pipeline generation and ensure flawless execution from opportunity identification through close
  • Executive Alignment: Establish and maintain quarterly and annual business reviews with executive stakeholders at partner organizations, ensuring complete strategic and commercial alignment
  • Internal Coaching & Influence: Serve as a key resource and mentor to the regional Sales Leadership and Account Executive teams. Train and coach GTM teams on advanced partner engagement best practices, demonstrating how to leverage complex alliances to maximize territory coverage and accelerate large-scale deals
  • Ecosystem Gaps: Proactively identify white space and systemic gaps in our partner ecosystem, leading the business case development and recruitment efforts for critical new strategic partners
  • Composability Evangelism: Be a leading voice for the power of Braze's composable architecture, positioning joint solutions and service offerings with partners to senior client stakeholders, focusing on business outcomes and ROI
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain highly accurate and transparent pipeline forecasting for partner-sourced and influenced revenue, providing strategic insights to senior Braze leadership
  • Deal Structuring: Consult on complex deal structures involving partner services, ensuring clear rules of engagement and mutually beneficial commercial terms are established
  • Marketing Strategy: Direct joint marketing initiatives, influence the annual Partner Marketing Calendar, and drive high-ROI partner participation in flagship Braze and industry events
