About The Position

As a Partner Operations Manager on our Payments team, you'll be responsible for managing the operational health and performance of our global network of payment partners. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and our external partners to support our strategic payments priorities. Specific areas of focus include partner onboarding and integration, performance monitoring, operational troubleshooting, and ensuring ongoing compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in partner operations, payment operations, project management, or a related role, preferably in the tech or fintech industry.
  • Direct experience in the payments ecosystem, working with payment gateways, processors, card networks, and/or alternative payment methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills with exceptional follow-through to ensure seamless and reliable execution.
  • Experience prioritizing competing demands in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal).
  • Experience using data to analyze performance, identify trends, and influence decisions; proficiency with SQL is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to compose, document and implement team processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for our payment partners, managing day-to-day inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key partner performance metrics (e.g., authorization rates, uptime, costs) and conduct regular operational reviews with partners.
  • Manage the operational onboarding and integration of new payment partners and platforms, supporting international expansion and new product launches.
  • Manage and optimize operational workflows related to partner performance, including chargebacks, refunds, and settlement processes.
  • Manage compliance and audit requirements in collaboration with our payment providers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and manage project plans for partner-facing initiatives, ensuring clear communication with internal and external stakeholders and on-time delivery.
  • Identify and help define technical and tooling requirements to improve partner monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Use technical and payments-domain judgment to proactively identify and resolve operational issues with partners.
