The Partner Engagement Manager acts as the primary liaison to Delta Dental Partner Plans and Affiliates to meet client expectations and requirements, including account support, relationship building, reporting, quality service delivery, and program strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field and five years of experience in sales, services of large group accounts, or insurance contract language.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to use independent judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
  • Operation of a motor vehicle is necessary to properly implement and service groups.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures all service needs are adequately met for resolution of issues and ongoing requests.
  • Analyzes new requests by engaging with internal and external contacts to review, assess, solution, and deliver results that achieve business goals in alignment with the Government Programs business model.
  • Acts in a consultative role to provide ongoing training and education to partners regarding new value-add service offerings, market updates, innovative benefit approaches, and retention-based strategies.
  • Organizes, coordinates and prepares for activities related to business development, bids/RFPs, implementations, renewals, and performance reviews.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key decision-making individuals to ensure retention of current client base and development of new opportunities. This includes regular engagement via individual calls, meetings, conferences, etc.
  • Monitors assigned book-of-business to ensure business strategies meet government program financial objectives.
  • Participates in business and professional organizations to develop relationships and improve knowledge.
  • Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.
