About The Position

The Part-Time Student Program at John Deere is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND. This specific role is for a Part-time Student in Maintenance Engineering at JD Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA. Requirements

• Pursuing a degree related to mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing technology; others may apply
• Available to work 16-20 hours during the academic year
• Available to work 30-40 hours during the summer semester
• Must be able to commute to the work location in Dubuque, IA, regularly
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local U.S. accredited college/university
• Graduation date of May 2027 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Responsibilities

• Spare parts inventory project related to inventory movements, audits, and grouping of common commodities based on collaborative feedback with skilled trades and engineering resources.
