Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Software Engineering, or a related field
Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
Experience with Python, PySpark, and/or SQL programming languages
Experience analyzing text and/or numeric data and creating data visualizations
Independent learner and problem solver with high-level attention to detail and accuracy
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
Must be able to commute to the work location in Ankeny, IA during the summer
Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Nice To Haves

Experience using Databricks, Tableau, or similar platforms and applications
Experience using source control tools such as Git for branching, merging, and resolving conflicts
Strong people, relationship-building, and communication skills. Ability to develop productive working relationships with a wide variety of teams and leaders
Project management experience including plan development, requirements gathering, delivery, and deployment
Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis

Responsibilities

Apply analytics techniques to clean, preprocess, explore, and analyze data to generate actionable insights for Ag Engineering
Collaborate in a fun, friendly, and fast‑paced team environment, partnering across disciplines and with key stakeholders
Communicate insights clearly by presenting findings in meetings and translating results into reports and dashboards
Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards when working with sensitive information
