About The Position

The Sales Lead at Lakeshore reports to a Store Manager and is crucial for achieving business goals related to sales and service. As part of the retail team, the Sales Lead will drive sales and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring an unforgettable experience in a fast-paced environment. The position involves leading and motivating a team of sales associates, meeting sales targets, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.   • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team to achieve sales goals.
  • Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technology.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, purchases, and returns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment and merchandising activities as needed.
  • Train and coach sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies and procedures.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • The Sales Lead may be assigned to the Key Holder role and assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
