About The Position

The Institute for Entrepreneurship (I4E) is seeking a dynamic, community-minded part-time Program Facilitator to support the delivery of high-impact entrepreneurial programs through our Venture Development Pathway (VDP), community-facing events, and other campus and community initiatives. The Program Facilitator will support program execution, coaching/mentorship, event operations, and community engagement. The role contributes directly to strengthening CSU’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and elevating I4E’s presence across campus and Northern Colorado. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. (e.g. high school diploma and 3 or more years related experience)
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in program facilitation, entrepreneurship, education, or community engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and comfort facilitating groups of diverse learners.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, or advise early-stage entrepreneurs.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Availability for occasional evening events or workshops.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or working within startup ecosystems, accelerators, incubators, or venture development programs.
  • Familiarity with lean startup methodology, customer discovery frameworks, or early-stage venture design.
  • Experience organizing events, workshops, or community programming.
  • Knowledge of CSU, the College of Business, and I4E’s “Zero Barriers” philosophy.
  • Strong public speaking or facilitation background.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops, sessions, and cohort activities for our Venture Development Pathway and other I4E programs.
  • Meet regularly with student and community founders to provide mentorship, accountability, and strategic guidance and serve as a connector between founders and the broader I4E mentor network, community partners, investors, and campus resources.
  • Track founder progress and contribute to program outcome reporting.
  • Support coordination and execution of community-facing entrepreneurship events and partnerships
  • Represent I4E at ecosystem events, strengthening relationships with partners, mentors, alumni, and local organizations.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts for I4E programs, including event outreach, tabling, and engagement with campus and community groups.
  • Other duties as assigned
