About The Position
A family in Florham Park is looking for a warm and reliable live-in nanny to take care of their two children, ages 2 years old and 4 years old. The schedule for this position consists of two longer days (7am to 5pm) and three shorter ones. (8am to 12pm). Based on the parents’ work schedules, the family has some flexibility with the schedule for the right fit. The ideal nanny is engaged and warm, able to provide attentive care in a safe, nurturing environment. The candidate will have some childcare and/or early childhood experience, but most importantly is a great fit for the family. This family values someone who can naturally introduce early concepts like numbers, colors, language, and early writing in a fun, engaging way. The family also prioritizes personality and fit over formal credentials—seeking someone patient, proactive, communicative, and aligned with our parenting style. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s is a plus, but not required. The 4-year-old is loving, energetic, curious, creative, and imaginative. He loves to build things and organize his toys. The 2-year-old is independent, energetic, curious, tough, and determined. She loves doing anything her older brother is doing. Mom is hands-on and health-conscious and values a nurturing, engaging environment where her children can learn, grow, and feel genuinely cared for. Dad is career-oriented but highly engaged in the safety and development of his children.
