Part-Time Lecturer - Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development (LEAD)
About The Position
The Department of Education Leadership, Evaluation, & Organizational Development (LEAD) invites applications for Part-time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions in the following program areas: Programs in Educational Leadership Programs in Organizational Leadership & Learning Program in Career & Technical Education Program in Human Resource & Organizational Development Programs in Healthcare Leadership (delivered in a Competency-Based Education format) Programs in Higher Education Administration Program in evaluation offer courses in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including blended and online formats.
Requirements
- Master’s required for undergraduate courses, but an earned doctorate is preferred.
- Doctorate is required for graduate courses.
- Highest graduate degree must be in the field of study or a closely related field with clear justifications on qualifications.
- Prior teaching experience is also preferred.
Responsibilities
- submit course syllabus
- order textbooks or other reading materials
- provide developmentally meaningful feedback
- present engaging learning experiences
- respond to students in a timely manner
- communicate regularly with designated academic program director
- maintain collegial and respectful relations with members of the UofL community and external stakeholders
- submit course data (e.g., Hallmark Assessment Tasks, midterm progress reports) and final grades within university deadlines
- comply with other requests as a part-time lecturer such as completing an attestation disclosure form
