California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is a preeminent center of intellectual and cultural activity in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. Opened in 1965 and set at the foothills of the beautiful San Bernardino mountains, the university serves approximately 19,000 students. JOB SUMMARY The Department of Educational Leadership and Technology seeks dynamic, equity-centered educators to serve as part-time Adjunct Lecturers and Fieldwork Supervisors. Successful candidates will deliver graduate-level instruction aligned with program standards and provide mentoring and coaching to students. Adjuncts will collaborate with university and community partners to support student success and continuous program improvement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Instructional Technology, Career/Technology or a closely related field.
  • Valid California Credentials held are specific to positions in EADM (administrative services) and CTE (teaching credential) programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of educational or related experience specific to the programs.
  • Evidence of effective teaching and/or mentoring of adult learners
  • Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in education
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in related fields specific to the program.
  • Experience teaching in a related graduate education program
  • Familiarity with Canvas or similar learning management systems
  • Experience supervising/mentoring educators
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish preferred)
  • Availability for evening and weekend instruction

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned graduate-level courses aligned with program standards
  • Provide academic guidance and fieldwork coaching to program candidates
  • Support candidates in completing required program tasks and assessments
  • Assess and provide actionable feedback on student assignments
  • Collaborate with program faculty, fieldwork supervisors, and community partners
  • Participate in program events, candidate orientations, and required trainings
  • Use Canvas LMS and other technologies to support hybrid or online instruction
  • Uphold the mission and vision of the department
  • Model culturally responsive and equity-centered educational practices
