About The Position

The University Honors College seeks applicants for its part-time lecturer pool. We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach courses in the Honors Program. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. Staffing decisions are made on a rolling basis typically beginning a few months prior to the start of an academic term right up to the beginning of the academic term. We recommend submitting your application well before the beginning of an academic term to be considered for available positions.

Requirements

  • Candidates must hold Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Philosophy, English, Communication, or related field at time of employment
  • Demonstrate evidence of teaching promise

Nice To Haves

  • Evidence of scholarly activity, publication, and innovation is valued.
  • Evidence of exemplary graduate-level teaching and leadership experience at program level is preferred and should be noted in application.
