About The Position

The Agriculture Program is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to fill our need for instructors to serve our Horticulture concentration. Projected course assignments will focus on integrated pest management, weed biology, tree and fruit crop production and management, and principles and practices of horticulture. Appointments are based on available teaching need and may vary by semester. Successful candidates with interest in exploring competitive grant opportunities to fund summer activities and interdisciplinary projects on the university campus 2-acre Sustainable Garden and fruit orchard will be supported, as will those in a position to provide technical support to local farmers and ranchers.
