Part-Time Extended Day Assistant Teacher
About The Position
Looking for an after-school job that is rewarding, hands-on and full of heart? We are hiring Assistant Teachers to support our Extended Day Program, a safe and playful environment for students after the school day ends. In this role you’ll: Stay alert to safety concerns during play, homework and transitions Communicate with parents regarding student behavior and/or progress Assist with maintaining a clean and organized working classroom environment Support and coordinate daily programming with the Extended Day Teacher Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the program You’re a great fit if: High school diploma or equivalent required CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Genuine love for working with children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Prior experience working with children This is a perfect role for someone who’s considering studying education in college or just loves helping kids feel safe, seen and supported. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
