About The Position

A warm and busy family is seeking a nurturing, engaging Part-Time Evening Nanny to support their household during the end-of-day routine. With a father who travels frequently and maintains demanding work hours, the ideal candidate will serve as a steady, calming presence and help alleviate the evening load for the mother.
This role is perfect for a candidate who genuinely enjoys children, brings a positive energy into the home, and values connection, structure, and thoughtful caregiving. There is a 2.5 year old boy and 7 month old girl.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the evening routine, including dinner, bath time, and bedtime preparation
• Provide attentive, hands-on care and actively engage with the children
• Support a smooth, calm transition into bedtime
• Help maintain a tidy environment related to the children (toys, kitchen clean-up after meals, etc.)
• Offer an extra set of hands to help ease the mother’s workload
• Note: There may be 1–2 hours during the shift when both children are asleep, allowing for light household support or downtime.

Benefits

• $35–$40 per hour, DOE
• Guaranteed 20 hours per week
