About The Position
An active family is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their two young boys, ages 6 and 3. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, engaging caregiver who enjoys working with energetic children and supporting their growth through play, structure, and creativity. The family is looking for someone who can help create a fun, active, and organized environment—balancing outdoor play, sports, and imaginative activities with consistent routines and age-appropriate responsibilities as the children grow. The schedule will be Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Flexibility for occasional mornings, evenings, and weekends is appreciated with advance notice. The family is seeking someone reliable, proactive, and genuinely enjoys being active with children, whether that’s playing sports, engaging in creative projects, or supporting homework and routines. This is an ASAP hire, with a focus on finding the right long-term fit.
Requirements
- Prior experience caring for multiple young children.
- Hands-on, energetic, and engaging caregiving style.
- Ability to balance structure, discipline, and play.
- Strong organizational skills and proactive mindset.
- Comfortable supporting school-aged children with homework and routines.
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive.
- Warm, positive, and team-oriented approach.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Fluent English required.
- Comfortable caring for two active children.
- Flexible with schedule as needed.
- Able to provide strong references and pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Driving experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for two children.
- Manage school pickup and after-school routines, including transitions home.
- Engage children in active play, including sports, outdoor time, and physical activities.
- Plan and lead creative and imaginative activities, including arts and crafts.
- Support homework and learning as the children grow.
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Handle children’s laundry and maintain organization of their spaces.
- Perform light cleaning and tidying related to the children.
- Help maintain a structured yet fun daily rhythm.
- Occasionally assist with extended hours, evenings, or weekend coverage with advance notice.
- Travel with the family during school breaks or summer months if desired.
Benefits
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- $35 per hour
