About The Position

The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Part Time Cashiering Specialist.
The Cashiering Specialist is responsible to complete daily processing of the lockbox and over the counter and bulk remittance advance receipts. Posts all cash and completes day end processing.

Requirements

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Customer focused both internally and externally, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, strong 10 key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity insurance collections and 1-3 years healthcare business office experience preferred.
• 1-3 years cash posting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the posting of payments and adjustments daily.
• Complete end of day balancing for individual work.
• Research and correct issues associated with unapplied cash.
• Research and correct other Cashiering Specialist transactions as necessary.
• Match tape and post balances to daily totals.
• Other duties as assigned.
