About The Position

This position is for a Part Time Breakfast Cook at the Springfield Residence Inn. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Key duties include supporting breakfast setup, line preparation, and managing kitchen opening and closing procedures. The cook must adhere strictly to food safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and proficiently operate and maintain kitchen equipment and dishwashing stations. Additionally, the role involves ensuring food is prepped for the following day's service and assisting with inventory rotation.

Requirements

• Prior culinary or food service experience
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand, bend, and move throughout your shift
• A positive, team-first attitude with flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• 6 months preferred (for prior culinary or food service experience)
• Culinary certification is a plus
