About The Position

We are seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily front‑office and administrative operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a steady, predictable schedule, takes pride in being a reliable support resource, and brings a friendly, professional demeanor to a production‑based environment. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, and truck drivers while providing general administrative and light operational support. The pace is calm and consistent, and there are opportunities to take on additional responsibilities based on your experience and interests.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, or office support role
  • Comfort working onsite in a manufacturing or operations‑adjacent environment
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • General comfort using computer systems and standard office software
  • Strong organizational, clerical, and administrative skills
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable communication style
  • Ability to work independently in a steady, slower‑paced environment with attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in regulated industries (e.g., chemicals)
  • Prior inventory experience, including inventory entry or reconciliation
  • Exposure to basic accounting support (data entry, invoice processing)
  • Familiarity with order processing or inventory systems
  • Interest in supporting multiple functional areas and taking on additional responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and route them appropriately
  • Greet employees, visitors, vendors, and truck drivers in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Manage front office access for staff, vendors, and deliveries
  • Coordinate monthly onsite meetings, including ordering lunches and overseeing vendor deliveries
  • Order and restock office, breakroom, and facility supplies
  • Perform basic data entry and order entry tasks in internal systems
  • Support light inventory activities such as inventory entry or picking when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front‑office environment
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support across departments
  • Collaborate with internal teams on administrative, inventory, and basic accounting‑related tasks
