About The Position

The Administrative Assistant to the physician is responsible for enhancing the physician’s productivity by handling personal administrative tasks, managing personal schedules, and facilitating communication.

Requirements

  • Word, Excel, and general computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving
  • Good Communication skills and ability to work with a team to accomplish goals
  • Self-directed, self-motivated to accomplish work
  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities

  • Handles personal administrative and clerical tasks for the physician
  • Assists with scheduling appointments and coordinating personal calendar
  • Communicates with physician’s Medical Secretary when information or tasks overlap or when scheduling occurs during clinic hours
  • Help schedule and coordinate external meetings, ensuring the physician is prepared with necessary materials and agendas
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations
  • Other clerical duties as assigned and requested
