Part-Time Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist
About The Position
City Wide Facility Solutions is one of the fastest-growing facility service companies in Austin, and we are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our team. Our location is a 3-time Platinum Club Market (Top 15% nationally) , and we are on track to double our business within the next three years . This role is ideal for someone with Accounts Receivable or collections experience who enjoys problem solving, communicating with customers, and keeping accounts organized. Experienced accounting professionals seeking flexible or reduced hours are encouraged to apply. Typical schedule: 30–35 hours per week with flexibility within business hours.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or collections experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software ( Business Central preferred )
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Nice To Haves
- Experience with accounting software ( Business Central preferred )
Responsibilities
- Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices via phone and email
- Maintain positive client relationships while resolving payment issues
- Monitor and review accounts receivable balances
- Document collection activity in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Assist with billing and customer account maintenance
- Support the accounting team with reporting and collections goals
- Provide occasional backup support to the Office Manager
