About The Position

The City of Cibolo is seeking a Crew Leader for our Parks Division within our Public Works Department. The Parks & Facilities Crew Leader is a working supervisor who provides hands on leadership, direction, and instruction to any employee’s assigned to the crew. The Crew Leader ensures that a crew performs efficiently and safely in maintaining the city park system in a manner that provides a safe and enjoyable place for the citizens of Cibolo. The Crew Leader is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to the city park system, city buildings and athletic facilities as directed by the Parks Superintendent.

This role also promotes and exhibits the City’s core values in daily behavior – Professional Development, Accountability, Respect, Teamwork, and Integrity.

Requirements

• High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Five (5) years’ experiences in a field consistent with the duties of this department.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
• One (1) years of experience in grounds keeping and facilities maintenance

Responsibilities

• Provides hands on leadership, direction, and instruction to any employee’s assigned to the crew.
• Ensures that a crew performs efficiently and safely in maintaining the city park system in a manner that provides a safe and enjoyable place for the citizens of Cibolo.
• Responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to the city park system, city buildings and athletic facilities as directed by the Parks Superintendent.
