The officer will demonstrate knowledge of parking ordinances, options, rates, and Oceanfront events and amenities to assist the public. They will use technology to monitor compliance and enforce parking regulations at various locations, including meters, residential streets, and pay-station controlled parking lots. The position also involves educating guests on parking meter operations, providing directions, promoting public safety by being aware of hazards and suspicious activity, researching field guides for enforcement tasks, and providing competent court testimony for contested citations. Daily tasks include safely operating and maintaining a company vehicle, using email for communication, and organizing equipment and supplies.
