The Parking Attendant position is responsible for assisting guests of the Toyota Arena & Ontario Convention Center facilities with directions, information, and guidance in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner. This role involves fulfilling specific event requirements as determined by the Parking Managers and/or Director of Security, and requires working event shifts, reporting no later than 3 PM on event days.
Requirements
- Ability to deal diplomatically with the public, supervisors and fellow employees.
- Skill to maintain effective verbal communications.
- Skill to use radio devices.
- Must be able to pass background.
Responsibilities
- Greets and welcomes guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Directs guests to parking spaces.
- Answers questions regarding parking procedures.
- Prohibits unauthorized vehicles from entering restricted areas.
- Receives payment of parking fees and making accurate change.
- Balancing unsold parking tickets.
- Set-up and placement before and after each Event.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
