Overview Parking Attendant is an on-call, per event employee who directs customers in and around the Ford Idaho Center parking lots during events. This role will pay an hourly wage of $13.00-$15.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
Ability to work both independently and as part of team
Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
Must have the ability to work flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language
Must be comfortable working with the public
Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills

Responsibilities

Greet and direct customers entering parking lots
Communicate parking and event information to the public
Selling/taking parking tickets
Count back correct change as needed
Ability to use mobile device to take credit/debit card payments on site
Park cars quickly and efficiently
Monitor lot during events, immediately contacting a supervisor as issues arise
Provide positive and friendly experience to all customers
Set up signs, parking cones, and stations prior to each event
Identify and problem solve parking issues; prevent when possible
Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients
Report to the parking supervisor for any other duties asked to perform for each event.
