About The Position
The Parking Attendant will greet and assist day and overnight visitors to the Emerald Grande and HarborWalk Village, with directions to the various parking locations on property, during the spring and summer seasons. This role will share resort/village information upon request and collect parking fees upon exit.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Able to work on your feet for an extended period
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Previous customer service experience a plus
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Bilingual or Multilingual a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the comings and goings of visitors of the HarborWalk Village and Emerald Grande property
- Collect payment (cash and credit) from visitors parking on property
- Maintain smooth traffic flow in, out, and around the property
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Maintain a clean and professional manner with proper hygiene
- Work in a mostly outside environment while on your feet for long periods
- Be knowledgeable of the property and able to answer visitors’ questions
- Other duties as assigned
