Sugarloaf Parking and Transportation Supervisor
About The Position
The Sugarloaf Parking and Transportation Team is the very front line of guest service in our winter operations. Our P&T Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, supporting, and assisting this crew to ensure stellar service. This role will also be the point person for the department in maintaining clear and positive communication with other resort departments to meet service goals. The ideal fit for this role will have some supervisory experience and will be willing and able to work in an outdoor environment in all conditions. Requirements
- Must have a positive attitude and value strong teamwork
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record and be willing to obtain a CDL license with bus endorsement
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role is preferred for this position; prior resort experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Train and support the crew in the safe transportation of guests and in guiding guest vehicles into approved parking spaces and lots at the start of the day
- Assume the daily roles and duties of Shuttle Driver and/or Parking Lot Attendant as needed
- Assist with department schedules and payroll. This role will also assist in record keeping and maintenance for the department.
- Delegate tasks to foreman and crew members at the start of and throughout the day
- Assist in snow and ice removal from parking lots and areas; communicate snow removal plan with other resort departments as needed
- Set up parking lots and walkways with proper equipment
- Rope/close off parking lots as they reach capacity
- Develop/possess a deep knowledge of the resort and the surrounding area to be able to answer, or find the answer to, any guest questions
