About The Position

Clarvida is seeking a compassionate, skilled , and motivated Parenting Counselor to join our family-centered team. About this role In this role , you'll support parents and caregivers in building strong, healthy , and nurturing relationships with their children. Utilizing evidenced-based parenting strategies, emotional support, and practical tools that promote stability, confidence, and positive family dynamics. As a Parenting Counselor, you will work under the direct supervision of the family support unit director. Parenting counselors provide community based in home parental support services which may include some evenings and weekends. As a parenting counselor you will provide clinical, behavioral, psycho educational treatment modalities based on the assessment of motivational and psychosocial issues, which may include family and group therapies, supervised visitation that focuses on the empowerment of families and the development of skills to utilize during familial interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates degree
• Valid current PA driver’s license
• Willing and able to travel across the community and to client homes

Responsibilities

• Provide community based in home parental support services which may include some evenings and weekends.
