About The Position

The Parent Family Community Engagement Coordinator for the Early Education Child Care programs is responsible for the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the Parent Family Community Engagement (PFCE), and the Program Design and Management (PDM) content areas and plans for early education child care programs.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in two or more languages, including one that supports the needs of the program and community.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience in social work, human services, family services or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Family Support and/or Family Strengthening Frameworks is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with leadership to develop and monitor PFCE Program Plans
  • Maintains accurate PFCE data and records
  • Coordinates with internal programs to streamline parent engagement
  • Provides PFCE training and technical assistance across service areas
  • Leads Family Engagement activities and forums
  • Acts as liaison with community agencies to support family needs
  • Trains staff in Program Design and Management
  • Supports governance training for Parent Committees and Policy Council
  • Ensures shared governance model is implemented and maintained
  • Leads training for parent representatives and alternates
  • Promotes parent involvement in planning and decision-making
  • Oversees mandated reporting training for staff and parents
  • Leads Pre-Service Training, PIR, and Self-Assessment reporting
