The Parent and Family Program Coordinator assists with the planning of Parent Orientation and other university family events. Assists with communication and marketing plans to parents and family members. Serves as a vital member of the Parent & Family Programs team, supporting all department programs/services/events including Parent & Family Orientation, Family Weekend, communication, social media, and other large-scale event programming. Shares in responsibility with the Assistant Director for Orientation Leader recruitment, selection, and training. Oversees the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and supervision of NODA graduate interns, Lead Orientation leaders, one graduate assistant. Oversees department communications through parent e-newsletter and social media platforms. Reports to the Assistant Director of Parent & Family Programs. Completes required training. Promotes a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace. Holds staff accountable for completion of required training.
