Requirements

Demonstrates the appropriate specialized knowledge required to perform the job effectively and efficiently
Exhibits the skills necessary to complete tasks using established techniques, materials, and equipment
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
Maintains valid motor vehicle license
High School Diploma or GED
Must have experience working with individuals with mental health or substance use disorders and have the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by the population and age to be served
Resume must include relevant employment dates including month and year, and populations served.

Responsibilities

Show knowledge and use of clinical process to achieve positive outcomes to include: evaluation, assessment, service, treatment planning, intervention techniques, aftercare, and transition planning
Remain available face to face or by telephone, 24 hours a day 7 days a week as staff serves as the first responder in the event of crisis situations. The service site will be at any location the consumer or family needs
Maintain accurate service and billing record documentation that clearly communicates the services provided and consumer progress Documentation shall maintain compliance with organizational policy/procedure, purchaser of service requirements (NC Division of MH/DD/SA, DMA/Medicaid, MCO) and accrediting/regulatory bodies (CARF, NC Statute/APSM rules, etc)
Participate in community-based team approach that utilizes the resources of the community, consumer, and treatment team to achieve positive outcomes
Demonstrate the ability to work in and be a part of organizational and therapeutic teams
