About The Position
JOB GOAL:To work closely with students on a regular basis in an effort to provide them with the support needed to gain full benefits from their education program.
Responsibilities
- Work with students in recitation, reading, and other curriculum tasks, guiding and helping them.
- Under the supervision of the teacher, work with individual or small groups of students to reinforce material.
- Establishes as fully as possible a supportive and sympathetic relationship with students.
- Assists in the supervision of students.
- Handles behavior issues concerning assigned student(s)
- Assist teacher in carrying out instruction or lessons to support IEP
- Other appropriate duties as assigned.
