About The Position

This position involves functioning as a team member to provide care and transportation to pediatric and neonatal patients using ground ambulance, helicopter, and fixed wing aircraft. Responsibilities include maintaining the readiness of equipment, ensuring the availability of supplies, and completing all necessary paperwork. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, possess strong customer service and communication skills, and be capable of developing and maintaining positive working relationships. A desire to expand knowledge of pediatric and neonatal patients and apply it in the transport environment is also sought. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years ALS experience for flight paramedics
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience for an EMT-P/LP
• Plan to assess and document the competency and proficiency of the provider to perform in the critical care medical transport environment
• Self motivated
• Highly organized
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
• Current Texas Certification or Licensure as a Paramedic
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Texas Drivers License
• Auto Liability Insurance
• ACLS Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain)
• PALS Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain)
• NRP Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain)
• Stable Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain)
• TNCC (audit within 6 months of employment, every 4 years thereafter)
• Advanced Certification (FP-C, CCEMTP, C-NPT or TP-C) within 2 years
• Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (during orientation, every 3 years thereafter)
