About The Position

This position involves functioning as a team member to provide care and transportation to pediatric and neonatal patients using ground ambulance, helicopter, and fixed-wing aircraft. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment readiness, ensuring supply availability, and completing necessary paperwork. The ideal candidate will have a desire to expand their knowledge of pediatric and neonatal care in a transport setting, be self-motivated, highly organized, possess strong customer service and communication skills, and be able to foster positive working relationships. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years ALS experience for flight paramedics
  • 3 years clinical experience for an EMT-P/LP
  • Plan to assess and document the competency and proficiency of the provider to perform in the critical care medical transport environment
  • Current Texas Certification or Licensure as a Paramedic
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid Texas Drivers License and Auto Liability Insurance
  • ACLS Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain)
  • PALS Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain)
  • NRP Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain)
  • Stable Certification (within 90 days of employment and maintain)
  • TNCC (audit within 6 months of employment, every 4 years thereafter)
  • Advanced Certification (FP-C, CCEMTP, C-NPT or TP-C) within 2 years
  • Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (during orientation, every 3 years thereafter)
