With that being said, we are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our team. As a vital member of our firm, you will work closely with our lead attorneys—reporting directly to senior management—to manage case files, draft legal documents, and perform comprehensive legal research. This role is critical in ensuring that our legal operations are executed with precision and consistency. Requirements

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting, with a proven track record managing a robust caseload.
  • A strong background in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and responses—experience with personal injury or litigation files is a plus.
  • Exceptional legal writing and research skills, with proficiency in legal databases (e.g., LexisNexis) and case management software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a natural fact-finder with an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
  • A self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and hit the ground running without needing extensive hand-holding.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.

  • Experience within a small law firm with Personal injury experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist assigned attorneys with case planning, development, and management.
  • Maintain a current list of active cases and monitor critical deadlines for hearings, depositions, and filings.
  • Organize and manage both electronic and physical case files to ensure timely and accurate tracking.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents with a keen eye for detail.
  • Prepare exhibits, affidavits, and supporting documentation as required.
  • Utilize the Florida E-Filing Portal to file documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct legal research using platforms like LexisNexis, ensuring proper citation and application of relevant case law.
  • Summarize research findings to support attorney case strategy and decision-making.
  • Communicate with clients regularly to update them on case progress and gather necessary documentation.
  • Utilize case management software to record billable hours and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Support attorneys with miscellaneous administrative tasks to ensure smooth case operations.
