About The Position

A trust, estates and tax paralegal provides support to attorneys and CPAs by working with clients who need legal services regarding wills, estate planning, and taxes. As a paralegal on this team, your job duties include drafting legal documents such as wills and trusts, providing client consultants, processing tax returns, and managing administrative tasks. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Detail oriented and ability to multi-task and work within deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Using software to assist with the preparation of estate planning documents. Participation in meetings with clients, attorneys and advisors during the estate planning process. Communicate with clients, family members, trustees, other attorneys and professionals. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work successfully with multiple team members, interacting with employees at all levels of the organization. Competent to handle a variety of activities with attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow through and follow up, and adapt to quickly meet changing deadlines and priorities. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF software, and DocuSign. Ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on short deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision. Retain a high level of flexibility and resourceful problem solving. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

  • At least two plus years of experience in a professional services firm with a concentration in estate planning, probate services or other relevant work
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary
