About The Position

Because of rapid expansion of the organization the following opportunity is currently available: Paralegal We are looking for a self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented person to join our progressive, innovative, and growing elder law department of nine attorneys and a great team of paralegals. You must have 3-5 years Medicaid experience, be articulate, comfortable with extensive client contact and possess strong writing skills Job Duties Primary responsibility to the preparation and submission of application seeking Medicaid coverage for home care or nursing home services under the supervision of an attorney. A basic familiarity with estate planning process, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills required.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in processing Medicaid applications for home care and nursing home services
• Excellent client service
• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills
• Superior computer skills including Microsoft office and hotdocs
• Must be detail-oriented and organized with good analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
