About The Position

Brown & Streza, LLP is a mid-sized law firm in Orange County that focuses on Business Planning, Estate Planning, Complex Income Tax Planning, Charitable Sector and Mergers & Acquisitions. We are seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to work with one or more estate planning attorneys.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of paralegal work experience.
• Current ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
• Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Excellent organization, time management, and proofreading skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Windows.

Nice To Haves

• 5 years of experience working as a paralegal.
• Experience working in estate planning, drafting revocable living trusts and other foundational estate planning documents.
• Experience with WealthDocs, NetDocs & LawBase.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in initial drafting of estate planning documents.
• Funding trusts with client assets.
• Meeting and communicating with clients and client advisors.
• Preparation of deeds and accompanying transfer documents.
• Maintaining client files.
