This position will support safe and effective coordination of the terminal’s Marine Operations Department. The Marine Operations Department serves as the terminal’s primary marine interface with shipping agents, charterers, vessel owner’s technical teams, as well as other local maritime stakeholders in support of shipping activity. Responsibilities also include providing support across the marine spectrum where needed, support project development, contract scope and execution and lead terminal specific marine projects. This role also supports Commercial, Operations, Production Planning, Regulatory, and Business Development activities in matters pertaining to Marine Operations and LNG shipping. Provides oversight and compliance management of federal, local, and international regulations, as well as internationally recognized guidelines and best practices. This position will responsible for vetting all nominated LNG tankers. This position reports directly to the Director of Marine Operations and will have have one or more direct reports. This position will be located in Port Arthur, Texas and can require nonstandard working hours in order to provide 24/7 coverage. Required to have or successfully obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).
