About The Position

The Desire Company is seeking experienced Painting and Finishing Professionals to participate in paid brand projects with leading home improvement and hardware brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise to create impactful content that helps shoppers make confident purchase decisions.

Project Overview:
Filming Location: Varies by project (travel may be required)
Time on Set: Approximately 3–5 hours (half-day; subject to change)
Final Deliverables: 1 Product Recommendation Video per project
Pay: Starting at $1,500

Once you express interest, we will pitch you to relevant brand and retail partners. If selected, we’ll coordinate a pre-production conversation before filming.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in painting, finishing, or related trades.
• Strong understanding of paints, coatings, tools, and finishing products within your area of expertise, and the ability to assess and communicate their value to consumers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert insights related to painting, finishing, and surface preparation.
• Participate in a brief pre-production call to align on project goals and expectations.
• Collaborate with our production crew during filming sessions.
• Communicate recommendations clearly and practically for consumers.
