Painter Maintenance
About The Position
Painter, Junior Paints, stains, enamels, varnishes, lacquers and redecorates interior and exterior surfaces. Mixes paint and matches colors to achieve desired color. Uses cloth, brushes, sprayer, roller, and/or sponges to apply paint or other coatings. Removes old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds, or a blowtorch. May fill nail holes, joints and cracks in walls with plaster or other filler. May replace door or window glass. Requisitions new painting supplies and equipment. Requirements
- Education Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
- Experience 1-3 years of related painting experience.
- Paint and Lagging Experience per NAVSEA STANDARD ITEM 009-11 Title: Insulation and Lagging; accomplish
- Bring your Painter expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Experience: 1+ years of related experience
- US citizenship required
