About The Position

ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex). We are looking for a Maintenance Painter to join our team. Roles/Responsibilities: The Painter, Maintenance paints and redecorates walls, woodwork and fixtures. Work involves the following: knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required for different applications. Preparing surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes and interstices and applying paint with spray gun or brush. This person may mix colors, oils, white lead and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency. In general, the work of the maintenance painter requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have 2 years of recent experience as a General Maintenance Worker
• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Must be a US Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport or REAL ID
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to lift 30lbs.unassisted
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Clear and effective written and communication skills
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
