About The Position

Amazon Music is seeking a passionate and dynamic Paid Social Marketing Manager to join our Organic Brand Social team in the Global Marketing Organization. In this role, you will collaborate with the Global Organic Social team in planning, developing, executing, and optimizing compelling paid social media campaigns across tentpole marketing campaigns for the Amazon Music brand. You will work across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube) driving long-term strategy, amplifying content to drive engagement, awareness and fostering community building and management. You will develop and implement Paid Social strategies (world wide) for content amplification, measurement framework, optimize campaigns, monitor and analyze performance in collaboration with Brand Paid Media team and local marketing teams. The Organic Brand Social team is focused on top-funnel awareness, delivering billions of impressions and positive engagements, increasing effectiveness of lower funnel campaigns. Our strategy prioritizes engagement over direct sales or traffic through exclusive content and cultural moments. We make a first connection with potential new customers, deepen our engagement with existing ones, and build cohorts that other (paid social) marketing teams can tap into for an efficient, Brand-led, full funnel approach. We are passionate lovers of audio entertainment who are in the know about fans favorite artists, from new music to fan culture, have the latest podcast and audio recommendations from Tinx to the New York Times to Rebecca Yarro’s Fourth Wing and Harry Potter. Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
  • Experience delivering paid media campaigns spanning TV, print ads and digital/social channels
  • Experience across affiliate marketing, PPC, SEM and social media advertising
  • 5+ years of professional experience in paid social media marketing, digital advertising, or performance marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management
  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
  • Experience with A/B testing

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience in paid social marketing with a focus on brand awareness and engagement campaigns
  • Experience working in entertainment, music, or consumer technology industries
  • Proven track record of scaling paid social programs globally across multiple markets and regions
  • Advanced expertise in audience segmentation, targeting strategies, and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including organic social, content creators, brand marketing, and regional marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to amplify organic content through paid strategies, achieving 2x+ engagement lift
  • Experience managing tentpole marketing campaigns, product launches, or cultural moment activations
  • Knowledge of emerging social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and innovative advertising formats
  • MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Paid Social Strategies: Lead and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies and campaigns, spanning new product launches, sports partnerships, merch, livestreams, brand campaigns, and cultural moments.
  • Create and manage paid media campaigns for social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Twitter, etc.) focused on boosting organic reach, engagement to drive awareness and consideration.
  • Content Amplification: Collaborate and identify high-performing organic content and develop strategies to amplify reach through paid promotions.
  • Audience Targeting: Utilize insights and segmentation to target audiences and interest, ensuring maximum impact and engagement.
  • Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets effectively, optimizing spend to achieve desired results within allocated budgets.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights. Use data-driven approaches to refine and optimize strategies to improve ROI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the social media team, content creators, and other marketing stakeholders to align organic and paid strategies for cohesive brand messaging. Partner with regional social teams to execute global marketing campaigns that resonate with international markets.
  • Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, social media algorithms, and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative and effective strategies into our campaigns. Stay continuously informed about YA and diverse culture trends, infusing the social space with innovative ideas.
